After a highly competitive process, MetriTrack announces the award of an SBIR Phase 1 grant for “Evaluating the completeness of scanning in hand-held whole breast ultrasound exams”. The Aim of the grant is to:
- Build the BVN™ model G-2000 software/hardware prototype designed to automatically detect breast regions lacking optimal coverage during scanning and thus guide the operator to obtain a complete ultrasound exam.
- Evaluate the accuracy, precision, and usability for the detection of breast volume regions lacking optimal coverage.
